Return Policy:Reborn dolls are works of art and thus each one will vary as no two are exactly alike. Potential customers are encourage to ask any and all questions prior to purchase so that you may be fully informed regarding your purchase. I do the best to represent items accurately in photos and videos and in most cases the items look even better in person as I am not a professional photographer.
All Sales Are Considered Final. All items are shipped with insurance to fully cover if any damages are sustained from shipping handlers and in these cases a full refund will be given. I do not accept returns for changing your mind or "not bonding" with your doll. Returns are only offered upon my approval of the reason for the return. Request must be made within 3 days of receiving the item. It I approve your return, refund will be for the purchase price minus all shipping charges. Item must also be posted via Priority Mail Insured within 3 days and returned in its original condition with all included accessories. Once received by me you will receive your refund. Items returned to me with customer damages or smelling like smoke will result in a reduced refund by 25%.
Does Angie's Lil Dumplins Nursery Make Dolls For Children?
I am often contacted about making a doll for someone to purchase for their child. It is important to understand that reborn dolls are not toys. I do not certify the safety of reborn dolls for young children as they are not child safe age recommended toys. Each parent has to make their own judgment call as to whether or not they feel it is appropriate for his/her particular child and take responsibility for any reborn doll purchase as being for themselves to do with as they deem appropriate.
What About Repairs On A Doll Purchased From Angie's Lil Dumplins Nursery?I do not and cannot guarantee the paint finish of any reborn doll purchased for any type play or role play and comfort therapy. Reborn doll paints of ALL types will chip and rub off from play. There is no way to prevent that when you give a doll to someone to play with. "Play" is anything that goes beyond occasional dressing of the doll and display. Reborn dolls are works of art that are meant to be displayed and gently cuddled. They are not designed to withstand many acts of role play and child's play that often occurs by their owners. That is not to say a person can not enjoy a doll however they please. Just understand that the seller is not responsible for any wear and tear that may result from frequent handling, role playing or letting your child play with a reborn doll. No matter how gentle you think you or your child may be. The paint finishes can go shiny over time and possibly even wear off when exposed to much handling, clothing changes, cuddling etc. It is my policy that such repairs needed for dolls purchased from me are to be done at the customer's expense. Customer will pay for the cost of supplies, nursery hours, shipping etc. Some things cannot be repaired and I will tell you if I feel that is the case. Sometimes the best option is to purchase a new doll. I also do not smoke and I am highly sensitive to smoke thus I will not repair a doll that comes from a smoker's home.
